Ideas for online involvement and entertainment while confined in self-isolation

  • look for the Blog tab.  It’s a list of free, online, boredom-busting resources. Many ideas from virtual tours, online learning, geography and nature, music, arts and culture, literature, miscellaneous (including recipes), anxiety, mindfulness and wellbeing and prayer resources.

  • To keep you fit, exercises you can do at home
  • Almost every museum, gallery, opera house and concert hall are making their collections, past exhibitions or concerts available online. Eg Try the Wigmore Hall archives – look for the Video library for choice concerts and events from the past.
  • Camden Libraries are closed, but you can still access online material, ebooks and audio-books, online newspapers, magazines, graphic novels and comics.
  • Do register for NextDoor – it’s a Neighbourhood Forum which connects people in a particular neighbourhood (eg Kentish Town) and individuals post all kinds of material.
