Nick has lived in Camden since 1988. He was a councillor for Kentish Town from 2008 to 2010 and was also a governor of Haverstock School for 11 years until last summer, mostly as vice-chair and chair of finance. Other community activities have included being a volunteer for the Samaritans, and a trustee of a children’s music charity.
Nick was an active Remain campaigner during the referendum and is now fighting for a referendum on the deal once it has been concluded. “Many people voted Leave to give the government and London a bloody nose, but the principal victims are likely to be the young, who will not have the international career opportunities that their parents did. Having spent 11 years trying to improve the career prospects of Haverstock students, I cannot sit back and allow Brexit to harm their aspirations.
